Sometimes the equipment value exceeds our removal cost and you receive a check. On older, stripped or badly access-restricted New Haven scopes, the removal cost exceeds the value and the project nets near zero or a modest fee. What if the equipment is old or has no test records?
We still quote it. Records raise the number — a NETA test report on a breaker or a transformer is the single document that most improves what we can pay — but their absence disqualifies nothing. We price New Haven equipment on what our technicians and the replacement market say it is worth.
